No Tricks All Treats Socks - PDF Knitting Pattern
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I’d love to say it’s because I get to dress up and see other kids having fun but mostly it’s because I love candy. And these wonderful socks make me think of all the candy wrappers I get to dig through on my way to a sugar coma each Halloween.
Nomadic Yarns Trusty Sock (fingering weight; 75% superwash merino, 25% nylon; 462 yds/100g skein): 1 skein “Smoke” (Color A)
Nomadic Yarns Trusty Sock (fingering weight; 75% superwash merino, 25% nylon; 462 yds/100g skein): 1 skein “The Slutty Pumpkin” (Color B)
US 1.5 (2.5mm) circular needle(s) or set of DPNs. Adjust needle size as necessary to match gauge.
Small (Medium, Large): 7 (8, 9) inches circumference
Recommended ease: 1/2 inch of negative ease
36 sts and 40 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch
This pattern includes directions for socks knit from the top down with a standard short row heel. The left and right socks are identical to each other with the exception of the colorwork pattern for the Front/Instep sts of the sock. The colorwork charts are mirror images of each other.
The pattern is written for the Magic Loop technique, but any circular knitting method can be substituted.
