NEW PATTERN: HEISENBERG SOCKS

I can hardly believe I'm typing this... but here it is: this is my 5th year of publishing designs! My first pattern published was a pair of socks to celebrate 5 wonderful years of marriage to my amazing husband (The Hubband Socks), and this year I have presented him with a 5th pair for our 10th anniversary! WOOT WOOT!

Heisenberg Socks

Love is a chemical thing, baby! And this year, the Hubbs and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary. It’s more than just chemistry, but that’s what got us started more than 20 years ago... plus Breaking Bad was a favorite show of ours and this pattern was on a sweater worn by the main character during the first episode of the first season!

There's no better time to treat your favorite person (at least I HOPE your spouse is your favorite person) than at an anniversary, so I did just that: I treated his feet with some MCN (merino/cashmere/nylon) socks 'cuz my man deserves it! These special-to-us-for-so-many-reasons socks feature the Cashmerino Sock base from Red Sock Blue Sock Yarn Co. which is an 80/20/10 blend of the 3 fibers and oooh-wee to they feel scrumptious! While I chose a solid in the every so yummy "Avocado" colorway, Ahsley and the gang at RSBSYC have a plethora of gorgeous yarns in a huge array of colors to treat YOUR feet!

My anniversary = discount love!!!

What's not to love about love, right? Well, maybe it's a bit schmaltzy (see what I did there?) from time to time but for the most part, loving someone is pretty darn good. The Hubbs loves me unconditionally and provides all the support I could need to continue with this personal venture of being a knitwear designer. So I'm gonna pass his love on by means of a discount!
