NEW TUTORIAL: TUBULAR BIND OFF USING THE MAGIC LOOP METHOD

Happy Wednesday, knitting friend!

I’m back with another technique-driven tutorial that took me a wihle to master - there’s a lot of movement of yarn in and around the needles!

Today’s Technique Tutorial isn’t a brand new skill to many people. There are lots of tutorials that demonstrate how to work a Tubular Bind Off. But what I have found lacking is information about how to work this over a small circumference - specifically using the Magic Loop technique.

So in today’s new tutorial video I break down every step you need to bind off a small circumference - like a cuff or the top of a sock - using the Magic Loop method for a tubular bind off. I hope it helps you finish your projects with a beautiful, stretchy edge!

What lengths knitters go to…

Is that the start of a Dad-joke?

This last Sunday I released a Sunday Special episode of Knit Talk where I talked all about standard garment lengths. We take a look at 4 common lengths of garments available and have lots of visuals to show how they fall on a body.

Do you have a favorite length that you like to knit your sweaters to? I’m a big fan of a 15” / 38 cm length myself!

I hope you’ll enjoy the episode! It’s a quick 10-minute treat!
