WLSW: HELICAL KNITTING - PART 2

Hey there, friend!

Happy Wednesday! I hope that you’re finding time to knit and play with some new helical skills from last weeks video!

Today on Knit Talk we’re upping the ante on our helical knitting! We take a look at a quick fix for tension issues, and then dive right in to using helical knitting while working raglan shaping.

At the end of the episode we also take a look at how helical knitting plays with different knit fabrics - transitioning from ribbing to stockinette stitch!

Make sure to download the sample pattern I’ve written up so you can knit your own practice raglan yoke! You’ll learn so much just by doing!

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed that I’ve added a new skill to my arsenal of making: spinning!

I started out being curious about spinning on spinning wheels, and have now dived deep into spindle spinning, too!

If YOU’RE a spinner and have resources you love to share (tips, tricks, fiber retailers, etc!) drop me a line! I’d love to connect. Send me an email, shoot me a DM and give me a follow and we can knit AND spin together!

If there is a knitting-related topic you’d like to learn more about, I invite you to click the link to be taken to my Knit Talk discussion form. You can submit questions or discussion topics you’d like to see in a future episode of Knit Talk or request a tutorial!

Thank you so much being here!

With love and knitting,

Meaghan
