COURSE DETAILS: The Unapologetic Sock Mastery Course

Do you want to try knitting socks, but you don’t know where to start? Or are you a novice sock knitter who wants to refine your sock knitting skills? This course is for YOU!

Let’s be honest; there’s a lot to love about and a lot to be intimidated by when it comes to hand-knit socks.

And if you’ve been going it alone, without anyone to guide you through it, it’s hard to know what pitfalls you’re susceptible to and what (likely) minor tweaks you can make to make your sock knitting game a wild success!

My aim with this course is to make you an unapologetically avid sock knitter! So, let’s DO this!

Socks That Fit. The FIRST TIME!

At the end of my 4-week course, you’ll have a pair of socks that fit, with steps broken down into easy chunks, so you can feel confident in your sock-knitting skills AND the math that backs them up.

During the course, you’ll learn how to measure your foot, what the desired ease (or fit) for a sock is so that you avoid holes (because knitting socks is fun, darning them is less fun), and all the math that goes along with it.

The provided worksheets can be used repeatedly to make future pairs of socks with the same level of success.

SO, WHAT DO I GET IN THE COURSE?

Digital Course Program: Each Friday, beginning September 13th and ending October 4th, you’ll receive a PDF document with that week's course instructions. The document will include details of best practices, math worksheets, and stitch patterns to make your socks as unique as you are.

LIVE Sessions: At 10 am PT / 1 pm ET on each Friday of the course, we will meet for 1 hour to discuss the week's course instructions, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions in real-time to get you started on your journey. The first portion of the time together will be reviewing the PDF (briefly, I’m not going to read all of it to you, promise), and in the second half or so, I’ll field questions and provide visual demonstrations where necessary. If you cannot attend the sessions live, I will have recordings of our live meet-up in our private YouTube playlist for you to watch at your convenience by the end of that same day (so you can watch over the weekend)!

Community: We will have a private Facebook group where only our Unapologetic Sock Mastery Course members can participate. This will be a place where you can ask additional questions, share progress photos of your WIPs, and talk about hand-knit socks (or your pets if you want… you know I love dogs!). This will be where we can all come together, cheer each other on, and celebrate our successes!

WHAT IS MY INVESTMENT?

Sure, I could say “price,” but I consider learning a skill in a master course like this an investment in the future of your knitting journey.

To ensure this course is as accessible as possible, the investment is $18.99 USD.

Everything I listed above is included in this amount. The recordings of our live sessions will be available on YouTube in our private playlist for 6 months following the course, and I will monitor the community for those same 6 months (if you’re doing the math, that’s until April 4th, 2025).

So, what happens when i purchase the cOURSE?

The Unapologetic Sock Mastery Course and yarn kits will go on sale on Friday, August 30th, 2024. Please note that the course and the yarn kits are sold separately.

When you purchase the course, a digital download will automatically be sent to you. This initial download will include more details about the schedule of the course, a link to the private Facebook Group (where you’ll have to answer a question to enter), and more details about the materials you’ll need to be successful in the course.

Also included will be information about swatching, so if you'd like to get ahead, you can. But if you’d like to wait until Week 1 and our first live session to swatch, that’s okay, too!

You won’t hear much from me between the time you purchase the course, and our first Live session on Friday, September 13th, but the Facebook Group will be live immediately so you can get in, get amped about knitting with other folks, and wait (im)patiently for our start date!
