MKAL Announcement: Controlled Chaos
Let's BRIOCHE ALL THE THINGS!
Well... how about we start by brioche-ing just one thing - a slouch beanie. And let's make it an MKAL. This beanie is made to fit a woman's head, 20-24" circumference.
The MKAL will start on Thursday, June 25th at 9am PST with a new clue released each week over a 4-week span. There will be photo and video tutorials and, of course, a plethora of help in our Ravelry Discussion Group.
To get started, you can download the initial preparation step from Ravelry here - "Controlled Chaos MKAL". This initial download includes details about gauge and how to swatch for the project. It will also outline what happens each week of the MKAL and what we will learn each week. Each week as the clues are released the clue will be pushed to you via Ravelry and email so you'll always have notice when it goes live.
What You'll Need:
- Ewe Ewe Yarns Wooly Worsted (100% superwash merino, 95 yds/50g) in 3 colors: one main color, one neutral color and one bright color. Note that you'll only need ONE skein of each color to complete this MKAL.
- I have chosen Aquamarine as my main, Orange Peel as my bright and Wheat as my neutral.
- US 6 (4mm) circular needle
- US 8 (5mm) circular needle AND DPNs
- Stitch marker
Where to get Wooly Worsted.
A number of LYS across the country are proud suppliers of Ewe Ewe Yarns. There are 20 luscious colors to choose from and a wild array of color combinations that you could make. Here's a great list of LYS that carry Ewe Ewe Yarns.
If you're not living near a LYS that carries Ewe Ewe Yarns you can now order it directly from Ewe Ewe Yarns here.
