Why take a sock mastery course?
Knitting is not an inexpensive way to release our creative juices. As the cost of fiber has gone up, so has the cost of yarn; as the cost of software to produce patterns has gone up, so has the cost of patterns. It’s a seemingly endless cycle of watching the cost of goods and services increase.
And investing in a master course costs more than investing in a single pattern.
In my experience, however, a good (dare I say ‘great’) master class offers so much more than a single pattern.
I have invested in some not-so-good master classes, where the instructor teased me with information but didn’t give me skills I could walk away with and implement.
I’ve invested in good master classes where the instructor gave us SOME knowledge and then upsold us more classes to give us just a bit more, only to upsell again. It’s vicious.
I believe I have created a master class that stands out, offering you everything you need to be successful and transfer the skills to any other sock pattern you want.
No upsells.
No gimmicks.
Just knitting.
And math. Lots of (fun) math.
So why should you trust me?
Totally fair question. The simplest answer is that I believe YOU can knit ANYTHING, and I’d love to be a part of your learning journey.
But beyond that, I just like to share what I know so that you can share it with someone else. In a world where we experience gatekeeping and “pay to play” at every turn, I want to turn the tide and use it to lift all our proverbial boats.

I don’t feel like I’m asking you to invest in my knowledge - that I’m giving away. What I am asking you to invest in is me and my time.
It has taken me countless hours to put this course together and 10+ years of personal time to feel like I’m truly a sock-knitting guru.
Additionally, you’ll get to walk away with 20 pages of detailed information that you can use time and time again. From the instructions included in those 20 pages, you’ll be able to create a variety of unique socks without needing to invest in another pattern. WHY THIS MASTER CLASS?
I have been a knitter for over 20 years, and more importantly an avid sock knitter for 10+ years. I started obsessing about the fit of socks around 2013 and haven’t quit searching for new and better heel methods, easier ways to approach the numbers, and how to really have fun with socks.
In The Unapologetic Sock Mastery Course, we will explore, in detail, the math you need to know (and the math you can fudge a bit) to achieve socks that fit you or your intended wearer without needing to try them on. And you get to keep it all. For one price.
As part of the course, we’ll have a weekly LIVE session hosted on Zoom, where you can ask me questions in real-time. I think this is what excites me most. I’ll get to talk to you in person to make sure you walk away with your questions answered. I’m not trying to hide behind pre-recorded videos (though, of course, there will be some of those to help you, too).
We’ll also have a private Facebook Group where you can share photos of your WIPs (works in progress) and FOs (finished objects) and ask more questions if necessary. Only course participants will be able to join, so it will be a safe space for you to share about your knitting!
