The Ewe Heart Cowl

It’s a rarity that I have the opportunity to create a new knitting pattern design. But it’s actually happened!

Not only did I create a pattern using my favorite cowl shape, but I used more than one color - there are four glorious colors used in my new design.

I KNOW! 🤯

Introducing: The Ewe Heart Cowl!

The Ewe Heart Cowl is worked flat from the bottom up and features my favorite lace heart motif.

The cowl is knit up in Sport weight yarn. I chose my favorite yarn company, Ewe Ewe Yarns, and worked with their Ewe So Sporty yarn for the pattern. The colors are bright and saturated, and the bounciness of the yarn makes it a delight to work with.

The pattern is available on the Ewe Ewe Yarns website or Ravelry.

AND! Heather and I coordinated efforts to develop multiple color options and created yarn kits for the project.

You can purchase the Ewe Heart Cowl yarn kit directly from Ewe Ewe Yarns, which includes the yarn and pattern together.

You can also purchase the pattern through Ravelry and the yarn separately from Heather. You’ll need one ball each of your four favorite colors!

I can’t wait to see what colors you choose to make the cowl uniquely yours!

Why a new design now?

You’ve likely noticed I’m hosting a new course: a Valentine’s Day Knitting Intensive!

The course is designed to give you some new tools for knitting, and we thought it would be fun to apply those new skills to some patterns so you can dive in right away!

The Ewe Heart Cowl was designed to give you the opportunity to apply your new color theory skills, mosaic knitting skills, and chart reading skills all in one go!
