New Pattern: Eyelots Shawl
When the New Year rolled around and I reorganized my stash I promised myself I would have a major stash-busting year... I'd try not to buy more new yarn than what I had a need for (i.e.: an actual project in mind). Turns out I failed at that.
I saw Candy Skein's January-March, 3-month club order and the add-on of the stitch markers and I broke my vow... 5 days into the New Year. *slow clap* Well done... my powers or self control astound me.
But what come out of this indulgence is totally worth it. When the January colorway, Frozen Berries, landed on my doorstep I HAD to cast on right away. And I did. Introducing...
Eyelots Shawl
The shawl is fingering weight, though could easily be converted to a heavier weight. Two colors are used: 375 yds of the main color and 115 yds of the counter color. A standard triangular construction is used and the finished dimensions are 50" wide by 25" tall - more than enough to wrap this beauty around your neck to keep warm.
If you head on over to Ravelry I think you'll find that the first 10 folks who enter code "GimmeEyelots" will get a nice little treat...
Happy knitting - I love you all eye-lot (see what I did there?)! I can't wait to see what your color combinations are!
